hello hello! welcome to the inner workings of my mind
=+=
my friends and i are doing a book club for interview with the vampire by anne rice because one of my friends is particularly autistic about it... and hoo boy is it interesting. i can understand my friend's autism.
we just finished watching the first three episodes of the newer show and... it's an interesting diversion from the book. we only read part 1 and decided to watch the first few episodes bc the entirety of the first season is just .. part 1 .. so its a good place to start and keep us interested you know?
lestat is such an interesting character i think he's my favorite <:3 there's definitely a lot he's not letting on or telling louis and then by extension not telling us the readers. which is a fascinating writing choice i love it a lot. anne rice is very good with this ambiguous character motivation that we can't really see just yet. but im super excited for the vampire lestat because we get more of his internal world :3
the way the first three episodes differed from the book were also very interesting... my friends and i all discussed how the show makers probably thought a few changes wouldnt be tooooo big of a deal but they actually have CRAZY consequences and implications for the story as a whole.
anyways sooo super excited for the next episodes and also the next part <:3
wow... nearly a month since my last blog post... oopsies!!!
anyways, i saw that had made a new blog layout, and checked out what she was inspired by! i found turd's blog and loooooved the way it worked, so i decided to do something similar.
i really like how this works a lot better than my old blog, so i'll likely be updating this a lot more. yippee!! great success!
honestly that's it for now. this isn't a very exciting update... lololol
oh wait!!!! i also saw turd's music log, and as a BIG BIG BIG music guy, i also thought i would do something similar to that. possibly my next project :3
Since I've finished most of the building blocks of my site and now its just small touch ups here and there (and also finishing up some of my projects cough classpectingcough) I decided to see if I could make a webring! So, I did!
Its title is FujoRing Out and its a webring for fujos! And also fudanshis, himejoshis and himedanshis too! I think I'm very clever for the title. You know. Like. Fujoing out. Fujo...ring... out... yeah I'm clever.
It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be! But of course it did have its difficult moments. I ussed onionring for the base and fiddled around with everything until I thought it looked perfect! And it is perfect: you can see it live on my home page.
Mostly I just wanted something to practice and thought that FujoRing Out would be a perfect starting place since it's quite a niche topic for a webring and mostly just for fun. I learned a lot, though, so I'll likely make more webrings in the future! They're a lot of fun and also I get to make new webpages for them hehe. An excuse to start from scratch every time! That's my favorite thing about webdev, is making New things. It's great fun, really!
Alright, that's all I had to say on that topic. Making a WebRing was fun! I hope to do it again soon.
