Berdley is a very controversial character,,

But only in the sense that people have varying levels of tolerance for his "annoying" nature.

True gigachads know that he's Deltarune's best character.

In all seriousness, I love Berdley.

I find that I relate to him in more ways than one,

and find his contributions to the story really interesting.

People who look at him and see "annoying kid who deserves to die"

Honestly really get on my nerves.

He is such a realistic depiction of real-world high-schoolers going through the horrors.

So much so that I really saw my high school self in him when I first played Ch2.

Going through with the weird route really made me sad,

Especially when I saw other people excited that they got to kill Berdley.

I'm not going to get all moral high groundy about Berdley Deltarune, but I really like the guy

I hope in the normal route, he comes up some more, and in the weird route his frozen state has impact on the plot and isn't just glossed over.

Knowing Toby Fox, though, I doubt I have anything to worry about. There will be consequences.
